Pregnancy, through to birth and beyond to those early first days and weeks is a magical time for women and their families. But it can also be daunting and feel overwhelming at times. Having a midwife you know, whom you can build a trusting relationship with and receive continuity of care from, will give you the confidence and reassurance you need to navigate your pregnancy and the first few weeks with your newborn.
About Me
Hello! I'm Natalie and I have been a Registered Midwife since 2013.
I am an experienced midwife having worked in both the NHS and Private sector. I work alongside women and their families providing relationship-based, continuity of care which I am very passionate about and believe is the foundation for a positive pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience
I now work as an independent midwife, providing personalised, kind and supportive antenatal and postnatal care and breastfeeding support. I am passionate about all things pregnancy and birth related with a particular focus on postpartum care and the fourth trimester.
I live in Pershore, Worcestershire and cover surrounding areas within a 1 hour drive including Cheltenham, Malvern, Hereford and Gloucester.
Midwife Services
All appointments are carried out in the comfort of your own home and at a time to suit you. Visits will be unhurried and tailored to your individual needs, ensuring you get all the time and support you need. I currently offer antenatal and postnatal care with individual and combined packages and the option to purchase one-off appointments on an as required basis.
Additionally I also offer a virtual support package.

ANTENATAL CARE
Antenatal visits take place in the comfort of your own home and are tailored to you.
I'll provide unhurried appointments so you have the time and support you need without feeling rushed and you'll have the chance to ask any questions you may have about your pregnancy.
I can also carry out your usual antenatal checks including:
Blood pressure
Urinalysis
Abdominal palpation to ascertain baby's position
Fetal heart rate
You will also have the opportunity to discuss your birth plans and preferences with a birth preparation session. A postpartum planning session is also included.
POSTNATAL CARE
I carry out all the routine checks a midwife would do during the postnatal period and like the antenatal appointments I offer, these are unhurried and take place in your home at a time to suit you.
I'll provide you with support, advice and reassurance to help you settle in with your newborn and feel more at ease.
During visits, I will assess the health and wellbeing of both you and your baby (including weight check) and talk through any concerns you may have.
You'll get advice on general newborn care and safe sleeping as well as support to establish breastfeeding or for your chosen method of feeding.

For those of you wanting that extra support in pregnancy and the postnatal period, my combined antenatal and postnatal package is for you. Appointments are as detailed above for the separate antenatal and postnatal packages and you'll also benefit from the continuity of seeing the same midwife before and after the birth of your baby.
My virtual support package is perfect for all those questions you have between midwife appointments or if you are seeking advice about something specific and can be used for both antenatal and postnatal queries.
With the NHS as busy as ever, it can often be difficult to get hold of a midwife between appointments for non-urgent queries and advice. With my virtual support package, I can be available to you for a 2 week period to answer your questions and give you that extra bit of reassurance.
